C Voice and Diction

Catalog description

Term hours: 54 lecture. This is a course in the study of and exercise in voice production and articulation with the goal of producing Standard American speech. Special attention is given to diction for actors, classroom teachers and students with minor speech defects. Stress is placed on individual exercises designed to give conscious control of speech functions. Pass/No Pass/Letter Grade Option. Admission to theatre performances not to exceed $50.00 (UC/CSU, AA GE)
