Catalog description

Term hours: 72 lecture and 162 laboratory. This course explores the disease process of medical/surgical conditions relative to etiology, pathology, and treatment modalities. The therapeutic use of medication, the principles of nutrition, and the application of the nursing processes are presented in classroom instruction and implemented in clinical practice. (CSU)
