This course introduces a scientific inquiry into the integrated field of positive psychology. This course emphasizes exploring dynamic theories, research methods, and empirical evidence to the study of positive psychology concepts and principles. Psychological topics include the theory of subjective wellbeing, the diathesis stress model and psychoneuroimmunology, positive emotions, engagement, relationships, meaning, accomplishment, physical health, compassion, friendship, intentionality, resilience, mindset, creativity and flow, relaxation and mindfulness, religiosity and spirituality, and leisure.
