Term hours: 18 lecture and 18 laboratory. This course is designed for non-music majors whose piano skills are non-existent or very limited. This course provides an introduction to the fundamentals of piano playing: posture, keyboard topography, note reading, 5-finger-pattern exercises, sight-reading, and piano repertoires. This course is open to all students. Pass/No Pass/Letter Grade Option. (UC/CSU).
