Term hours: 54 lecture. This course is an introduction to the history and technological development of the field of animation. Animation will be explored from various perspectives: chronology, form, culture, and by personality. Emphasis is placed on examining how animation records, reflects and comments on world events and culture. (UC/CSU, AA GE, CalGETC)
