C Introduction to Global Citizenship Studies

Term hours: 54 lecture. This course is an introduction to the interdisciplinary field of global citizenship studies, i.e., the interconnected economic, political, social, cultural and ecological challenges that have led to both amazing technological innovations and global interconnectedness; also discussed will be climate change, diminishing biodiversity, and ongoing social inequities. Discussions will center on strategies for transformation and resolution. (UC/CSU, AA GE, CalGETC)
