C Industrial Maintenance and Safety

Catalog description

Term hours: 45 lecture and 27 laboratory. This course is designed to meet the training needs of plant maintenance personnel engaged in the day-to-day troubleshooting and fault correction of industrial electrical and mechanical equipment. It is appropriate for mechatronics maintenance personnel in need of a review of electro-mechanical basics and an introduction to more complicated industrial controls and test equipment. It also aims to promote the highest degree of the physical, mental and social well-being of workers in an industrial plant through discussion of OSHA requirements for safety. (CSU)
