(formerly ECON C2001H , Honors Principles of Economics-Micro). Term hours: 54 lecture. An introductory course using microeconomic models to understand individual decisions by consumers and firms, market outcomes including market failure, elasticity, market structures, labor markets, inequality, and the impact of government policies. This is an honors course. This course is an enhanced study of microeconomics analysis with special attention given to web-based interactive material on topics such as: price determination; the market models; comparative economic analysis; and international trade and finance. Duplicate credit not granted for ECON C2001. (UC Credit Limitation/CSU, AA GE, CalGETC, C-ID:ECON 201).
