C Dental Practice Management

Catalog description

Term hours: 72 lecture. This course equips students with advanced competencies in interprofessional communication, emphasizing collaborative teamwork, patient-centered care, ethical decision-making, and effective conflict resolution within diverse dental practice settings. An advanced exploration of leadership, business operations, and organizational management in dental practice settings. Emphasis is placed on strategic planning, financial analysis, human-resource management, marketing, compliance, and innovation. Students will critically evaluate practice systems and create a strategic or business plan that integrates leadership, ethics, and evidence-based management principles relevant to the evolving dental-hygiene profession.
