A minimum grade of 'C' in DH 311 C . Term hours: 270 laboratory. This course is designed to provide the student with advancing clinical skill in clinical patient experiences. Clinical instruction will be applied by clinical patient experience in the Cypress College Dental facility. An emphasis will be placed on: (1) mild-moderate periodontal therapy, (2) supportive periodontal treatment, (3) advanced supportive procedures, (4) treatment assessment and planning, (5) Local Anesthesia, Nitrous Oxide Sedation, oral antimicrobials, (6) dietary analysis, and (7) comprehensive dental hygiene services: child, adolescent, adult, geriatric, and patients with complex periodontal disease. $99.00 Materials Fee - PAYABLE AT REGISTRATION.
