Term hours: 18 lecture. This course will provide the student with the principles in management of infection and hazard control in the dental care setting. Infection control content includes bloodborne and infectious disease exposure, application of standard precautions, OSHA, and CDC guidelines as it pertains in oral health care services to patients.(CSU)
