C Adaptive Dance

Catalog description

Term hours: 54 lab. This course accommodates varied levels of abilities to elements of several types of dance, including modern and contact improvisation. Students will expand their movement vocabulary using breath, gravity, connectivity, musicality and space. The course will enhance self-confidence, dexterity, decision making and self-awareness through the usage of several factors involved in the pedagogical process. This course may be taken four times for credit. (UC/CSU, AA GE)
