Term hours: 54 lecture. In this hands-on training course students will install, configure, manage, and troubleshoot VMware vSphere, which includes VMware ESXi and VMware VCenter Server. Students are taught how to administer a vSphere infrastructure for an organization of any size. In doing so, students explore fundamentals of virtual network design and implementation, fundamentals of storage area networks, virtual switching, virtual system management, and engineering for high availability. In addition, students will learn the skills necessary to install and configure VMware vRealize for cloud solutions. $3 materials fee payable at registration. Pass/No Pass or Letter Grade option. (CSU)
