Catalog description

Term hours: 54 lecture and 54 laboratory. This course provides students with the fundamental knowledge and skills in IT and Cybersecurity and is designed to align with the CompTIA A+ and prepares students for the CCST IT Support certification exam. Topics include working with and troubleshooting computer hardware and software issues, Windows and Linux operating systems installation and configuration, security threats and protection, networking fundamentals and basics of virtualization and cloud computing services. Pass/No Pass/Letter Grade Option. (CSU).
