Term hours: 36 lecture and 54 laboratory. This course introduces students to both Microsoft Windows server administration and management in on-site and cloud environments. It is designed for the configuration, implementation, and integration of Windows server domain directory structure with Azure Active Directory Services. Students will learn the features and architectures of the various types of client/server implementations such as program installations, working with files and folders, security permissions to the network resources, network auditing, printing system, configuring users and groups, managing domains and OUs, configuring authentication policies, managing DFS, group policies, identity solution, domain name system, and integration of on-premises Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) environment into Azure. (CSU).
