Catalog description

Term hours: 90 lecture. The course emphasizes the acquisition of basic skills in pronunciation, listening, speaking, reading, writing, and the grammar and vocabulary necessary to acquire these skills. Students will be introduced to customs, culture, and geography of China through lectures, films, and reading assignments. Pass/No Pass/Letter Grade Option (UC/CSU, AA GE).
