C Aircraft and Engines

Catalog description

Term hours: 54 lecture. This course is a study of the theory of flight, aircraft design, construction, operation limitations, repair and maintenance, maintenance records and aircraft accessories. Engine study includes principles of internal combustion engines, engine design and construction, fuel, lubrication and cooling systems, propellers, trouble shooting and preventive maintenance. This course meets partial fulfillment of the requirements of the FAA for ground training. (CSU)
