Study Abroad in Peace and Conflict Resolution

Catalog description

Study abroad opportunity covering theory and practice of Conflict Resolution and Peace Studies. Students will have an opportunity to meet with decision makers across fields while experiencing the rich culture of the country/countries. Students will begin to understand issues from multiple cultural perpspectives, enhance their intercultural communication and adjustment skills, and analyze conflict resolution efforts and their impact at multiple levels. Basic language and cultural instruction will be included along with excursions to areas of interest. Requires participation in a travel abroud experience. Additional costs required.
