Information about the nature of material protected and duration of protection are covered for each type of intellectual property. Experience in utilizing the United States Patent and Trademark Office’s and U.S. Copyright Office’s online databases to conduct searches of existing patent, trademark, and copyright records. Develop familiarity with defenses that can be advanced in intellectual property matters.
