Nursing Informatics and Data-Driven Care

Catalog description

This course introduces the BSN student to nursing informatics practice, focusing on the transformation of data into information, knowledge, and wisdom. Students will develop skills in workflow and data analysis, alongside proficiency in understanding the relationship between nursing and information technology in evidence-based practice. Students will demonstrate an understanding of current and emerging technologies to improve health, healthcare equity, safety, quality, and outcomes.
