Catalog description

Introduction to the basic concepts of coding using Current Procedural Terminology (CPT), and Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System (HCPCS) Level II coding systems to report medical procedures and services. Students will learn to interpret medical documentation, assign appropriate procedural codes, and apply current coding guidelines for outpatient, physician office, and ambulatory settings.
