Catalog description

Principles and practices of Paramedics based on the current U.S. DOT – NHTSA National EMS Education Standards, the State Board of Emergency Medical, Fire, and Transportation Services (EMFTS Board) curriculum and the Ohio EMS scope of practice. Includes airway management, physical examination, trauma systems with mechanism of injury, hemorrhage and shock, trauma assessment and management related to: soft tissue, musculoskeletal, head, face, spinal, thoracic and abdominal injuries including burns.
