Planning for fhe Future: Problems, Issues, and Policies

Catalog description

This course will deal with ideas and issues related to planning, policy and politics at this time in the United States. The focus will be on the institutions and processes involved in determining planning and policies for American society with attention to the manner in which the debate is framed and determined. Regular distribution of material will be done through blackboard and the internet as also distributed by various think tanks representing competing political views and ideologies. There will not be a regularly assigned text book for the class.
