Urban Studies Capstone

Catalog description

This course offers students the opportunity to apply the concepts and theories introduced in URBS 10100 (Urban Life) and 20100 (Urban Plans and Policies), along with the methodological and analytical skills learned in URBS 10100 and URBS 31000 (Methods of Urban Research and Policy Analysis), to primary research projects of their own devising. Each student will design and carry out a project that develops an understanding of a specific policy issue as it is currently playing out in a New York City community.
