Catalog description

On-site supervised practicum, providing intensive specially designed instruction for students with learning disabilities or mild mental retardation from grades 1-6. Focus on specialized reading instruction, active engagement, structuring, sequencing, on-going assessment, family, culture, and school relations. Videotape and computer use.This Key Course requires a grade of B or better to pass. Any student who receives a grade of F or WU in this class will not be permitted to continue in the program. This course may be repeated only once.
