Catalog description

This is a curriculum and methods course focused on meeting the instructional needs of students with disabilities in grades P-12. It provides information about instructional approaches and specific methodologies that are valuable in educating students from emergent to proficient writers to deepen understanding of Math, Science, Social Studies and English Language Arts as well as understanding of self advocacy and community. From this base, teachers should be able to design and implement writing to learn units for use with a diverse range of students across multiple contexts.
