Catalog description

Provide language rich environments for deaf learners using research-based best practices for connecting ASL & English and incorporating multilingual, multimodal, and multicultural strategies in literacy practices. Topics teacher candidates will cover in this course include learning development and individual learning differences, learning environments, curricular content knowledge, assessment, instructional planning and strategies, professional learning and ethical practice, and collaboration.
