Student Teaching in Social Studies, Grades 7-9

Catalog description

Students who enroll in SEDC 765.10 must also complete SEDC 765.20 or SEDC 775.20. Teacher candidates complete 30 days of student teaching at grades 7-9 under the supervision of a HUNTR College faculty member in a New York City school selected by the college. They further develop their skills in the delivery of instruction. Student teachers will assume significant responsibility for classroom instruction and management.
