Teaching Science in Elementary Schools

Catalog description

This course is inquirybased or process-oriented. It is designed to focus on the doing part of science more than the facts part of science. In addition, this course includes analysis of local, state and national science standards, working with students from culturally diverse backgrounds, using multimedia technology effectively, and working with parents and the community. Students will be observed in science teaching activities during their [corequisite] student teaching in science.
