Clinical Medicine for Neurologic Physical Therapy

Catalog description

This course examines and reviews specific pathology to the central and peripheral nervous system that is commonly seen by physical therapists. The mechanisms of pathology, clinical manifestations, medical management, and implications for PT intervention will be investigated. Diagnoses, prognosis, and signs and symptoms for specific diseases and conditions will be presented. Differential diagnosis of various central nervous system and peripheral nervous system disorders will be discussed.
