Catalog description

Computing techniques for obtaining numerical solutions for graphic representation and visualization of physical problems expressed as differential and integral calculus forms and in ordinary differential equations. Topics selected from: solution of polynomial equations and linear systems of equations, curve fitting and function approximation, interpolation, differentiation and integration, ordinary differential equations, falling objects with various forms of air resistance, harmonic and anharmonic oscillators with damping. 3 cr.
