Catalog description

The course focuses on the assessment, care, counseling, and education of women and childbearing families. Didactic and clinical learning opportunities focus on nursing practice with expectant mothers, neonates and their families in classroom and selected health care settings. This course provides the theoretical basis for the nursing management of healthy and high-risk women and childbearing families.
