Journalism as Literature

Catalog description

This course examines the relationship between journalism and literature and how this genre brings together a fiction writer’s literary expertise, a reporter’s instinct and a journalist’s rigorous pursuit of factual accuracy. Students will work on their own narrative nonfiction stories.
