Catalog description

Familiarizes prospective teachers of grades 7–12 with pedagogical approaches for teaching a diverse body of learners, in light of national and state standards, in part by utilizing aspects of diversity in the ancient world. Innovative uses of technology, development of instructional units, individualizing for students with special needs, designing assessments, and exploring aspects for a student-centered classroom will be emphasized.
