Catalog description

This course, taught in French, is designed to teach contemporary French civilization and culture from 1958 to the present. This course will present contemporary France throught its press. It will present world events through the lens of French culture and politics. It will develop students' critical thinking by comparing coverage of current events by the French and American press.
