Catalog description

The goal of this graduate course is to introduce students to methods of survey research. The focus is on surveys of psychological constructs used to assess cognitive, non-cognitive, and metacognitive processes. Students will gain skills in the construction of surveys, and the evaluation of survey-based data in terms of reliability and validity. Students will also acquire the knowledge and skills to assess the quality of surveys used in research in education.
