Mathematics in Early Childhood

Catalog description

This course will examine the theories and research that focus on the relationship between children's development and learning of mathematical concepts and skills. Appropriate mathematics activities for children from birth through second grade and ways of assessing mathematical learning in diverse infant, toddler, preschool, and grade K-2 settings.
