Catalog description

This is the foundation course for the Advanced Certificate in Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, and Structured Literacy. The Foundation Course is designed to equip educators with foundational knowledge of the science of reading in order to effectively understand evidence based practices to support individuals with dyslexia and related language based literacy difficulties. This course serves as a precursor to subsequent methods courses and clinical experience in the program. - A grade of B or better is required to pass the course. - A grade of F results in dismissal from the program. - The course may only be repeated once.
