Ethics and Computer Science

Catalog description

Algorithms that we write, deploy and run may have broad effects on society. This course explores both the larger and the more frequent ethical concerns from computer science concepts. Students will also write and examine code that supports their ability to program and to do so with an active understanding of the impacts. Topics are drawn from the State licensing exam and present day events.
