Catalog description
With an eye toward clinical practice in speechlanguage pathology, this course provides a thorough overview of the normal anatomy and physiology of the ventilatory, laryngeal, supralaryngeal, and orofacial mechanisms of speech and voice production. Particular attention is paid to the development and age-related involution of the chest-wall, phonatory, velopharyngeal and articulatory systems.
