In JEDI Leadership 4, participants analyze and synthesize their apprenticeship through a systems framework, identifying areas of coherence across schools and districts. They will do this by (1) completing their apprenticeship, engaging as a professional learning community to share, analyze and apply prior and current learning (2) identifying strengths and areas of improvement for coherence between district and school management systems such as budget, facilities, unions/bargaining, and legal issues and (3) keeping current of local and national educational policy issues, especially those related to social justice, equity, diversity and inclusion (JEDI). The purpose of this course is to ensure that the processes by which changes have been made as a result of Modules 1,2 and 3 are sustainable as well as to continue to broaden candidates’ sphere of influence through coalition building for change. ¿This Key Course requires a grade of B or better to pass.¿Any student who receives a grade of F in this class will not be permitted to continue in the program.¿This course may be repeated only once.
