Laboratory in Molecular Biology Research

BIOL70300 is a 3 CR laboratory research course composed of a 1hour lecture and a 4 hour laboratory in sequence. This course provides the opportunity to learn a variety of molecular biology, genetic and cell biological techniques by conducting original research. The research projects center on the the individual instructor’s laboratory research. Students will obtain theoretical and hands-on experience in conducting research and interpreting novel data through experimentation. Students will also receive instruction in scientific proposal writing, and a short proposal is required as part of the final grade. Combines with BIOL 40300.
