Catalog description

This hybrid course uses computational biology and databases to explore detection and prevention of diseases. Students learn through presentation of seminar, interactive collaboration and writing a brief proposal. Topics include: personalized (precision) medicine, cancer genomics, genome wide association studies, microbiome and non-invasive prenatal diagnosis.
