Catalog description

Learn and apply laboratory methods to contribute to antibiotic discovery. As part of it, students will isolate bacteria from soil in their local environments that could lead to novel antibiotics. Using applied biological sciences and chemistry skills, students will conduct guided research to identify and isolate potential microbes that have antibiotic properties.
