Experimental Studies: History of Design

Catalog description

This course will deal heavily with industrial design and it would span from steamships to ipods with a focus on perceived binaries such as craft/industry, natural/synthetic, etc. as well as design theories as they apply to everyday objects (and some architecture) from the late 18th century onward.
