This course will introduce students to the fundamentals of digital photography, with an emphasis on its potential as a means for creative expression and critical interpretation. Inspired by John Szarkowski's The Photographer's Eye, we will consider the concepts of The Thing Itself, The Detail, The Frame, Time and Vantage Point.
