Refugees and Displaced Population

Catalog description

This course will examine policies, legal status and rights, and programs that affect refugees and displaced populations. Topics covered will include how these populations are defined and determinations of refugee status are made, policies of the US, European countries and the UN, refugee resettlement, and the most vulnerable populations (women and girls, people with disabilities, LGBT).
