Senior Activist Practicum

Catalog description

This senior practicum designed exclusively for Beyond Identity students will continue exploring qualitative intersectional research methods as the scholar-activists conduct their proposed research projects. Coursework will further explore research justice as a practice and the numerous community-inclusive ways of disseminating research findings, and will also include work with guest speakers and activists. As a collective, students will produce a zine highlighting individual research experiences and findings. The semester will conclude with a final presentation of research projects at The People’s Forum in front of invited community organizers and colleagues.
