This course provides an in-depth exploration of gender-based harm and its multifaceted impacts on individuals, communities, and society at large. Through a combination of scholarly research, documentary films, narrative cinema, and interactive discussions, students will examine various forms of gender-based violence—including domestic violence, sexual assault, trafficking, and online harassment—while considering the social, cultural, and economic factors that contribute to these issues.
