Internship in Special Education

Catalog description

Candidates will be assigned a full time supervised student teachingexperience in a special education or inclusion setting in accordance withhis/her certification grade level (e.g., 1-6, 7-12) for a minimum of300 hours. Accompanying weekly seminar integrates the teachingexperience with course work. Required for those in the initialcertification program. To be completed at the end of theprogram sequence. 4 credits.
